Calling all Oral Health Therapists
Are you seeking a new challenge? Would you like to expand your international experience? Then New Zealand could be the place for you.

In Aotearoa (New Zealand), the Districts provide free dental care for under 18 year olds. Oral Health Therapists play a key role in delivering quality oral health care to this key demographic group. Districts also deliver emergency dental care, services associated with acute illness and other medical conditions as well as limited service provision to low income adults.

While working in a District you'll be at the cutting edge of oral health therapy, working in a dynamic team with opportunities to increase your professional development.

To practice in New Zealand as an Oral Health Therapist or a Dental Therapist you will need to have a recognised qualification and be competent to practice with a paediatric scope. For more details please refer to the Dental Council link below:

Information about working and living in New Zealand:

Located in the South Pacific, New Zealand may have a relatively small population (approximately 4.5 million) but we're right up there on the world stage in many areas. Whether it is sports, arts or culture we're proud of what we've achieved and healthcare is no exception.

New Zealand has an excellent public health system. Eighteen Districts of varying sizes are responsible to provide or fund the provision of health services both in hospitals and the community. Each year the health sector works to achieve national health targets, which means there is a continual need for skilled professionals.

Right now, we have opportunities for experienced Oral Health Therapists to join our teams across the country - from the winterless north through to the beautiful south. If a work-life balance is important to you, New Zealand could be the perfect place to grow your career.
