About the Role
The Associate Charge Nurse Manager ( ACNM) is a key senior role within our HRBC afterhours co-ordination team and is responsible for providing leadership and support after hours
The ACNM will work in close collaboration with the Charge Nurse Manager of the mental health bureau to manage bureau staff activities and also manage and provide leadership afterhours across all Mental Health & Addiction Services, including HRBC inpatient services, OPR1 and afterhours community teams
Key responsibilities of the role:
- manage emergency response situations in conjunction with the campus duty manager
- facilitate and coordinate the safe and efficient flow of tangata whaiora into and out of the inpatient service afterhours.
- facilitate and coordinate staff resources to meet the demands of the service.

About you
As an Associate Charge Nurse Manager you will:
- Hold a current New Zealand nursing registration and practising certificate with scope to work in mental health
- Have 4-5 years of clinical experience working in an in-patient mental health environment
- Have a passion for making a difference to the lives of our taangata whaiora and whaanau
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high pressured environment
