9-Month Rotational Physiotherapist Rehabilitation, Allied Health

Remuneration as per the PSA Allied Health MECA guidelines (between step 3 $88,627 - 10 $116,390)

We have an opportunity for an experienced physiotherapist that is passionate about rehabilitation. The role is part of the experienced rehabilitation rotations, which will provide you with an opportunity to further develop your skills across a wide variety of rehabilitation and neurological settings on a 9-monthly basis.
These include:
- Acute Stroke Unit
- Inpatient Neuro-rehabilitation
- Ortho-geriatric Rehabilitation
- Rehabilitation of the Older Person (>65years old)
- Auckland Spinal Unit
- Community Stroke Rehabilitation
You will have the opportunity to develop your supervision and preceptor skills by supporting our junior rotational staff, rehab assistants and physiotherapy students. There is scope for involvement in service development projects and quality improvement work.
You will be professionally supported by a section head and other senior and advanced clinician physiotherapists as well as the wider team. We are committed to your continuing professional development through supervision, support and formal/informal training.

Essential
- Registration with the NZ Physiotherapy Board, with a current APC
- Minimum three years clinical experience
- Previous experience working in a rehabilitation team
- Full drivers licence
Preferred
- Post graduate qualification
- Experience supervising less experienced physiotherapists
