About the Role

Our busy Adult Emergency Department (AED) at Auckland City Hospital needs Medical Officers available for casual shifts in our brand new Ambulatory Care area.

We're looking for adaptable professionals who thrive in rapidly changing environments. As a Medical Officer, you'll work alongside our diverse healthcare team to deliver high-quality care in a setting where quick, accurate decision-making is essential. Your primary focus will be efficiently managing patients with minor illnesses and injuries in our high-volume, quick-turnover department.

About you

Qualifications:

• Medical practitioner fully registered with the New Zealand Medical Council
• Training in Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care
• Commitment to biculturalism and Maori health
• Minimum 4 years’ experience Registrar level
