Casual Registered Nurse - General Surgical Outpatient

About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Casual Registered Nurse to join our General Surgical Outpatient team at Hawkes Bay Fallen Soldiers Memorial Hospital. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care and support to patients attending outpatient surgical clinics. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care, education, and support in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Our General Surgical Outpatient team provides expert care to patients requiring surgical assessment, treatment, and follow-up care. We are a team committed to excellence, collaboration, and patient-centred care. Based in Hawkes Bay, you’ll enjoy a great work-life balance with easy access to beaches, wineries, and outdoor recreational activities.
About you:
We are looking for a compassionate and adaptable Registered Nurse who can work flexibly in a casual capacity. You will have:
- A current New Zealand Nursing Council registration with a current APC.
- Previous experience in surgical, outpatient, or acute care nursing.
- Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- A commitment to cultural competence
- The ability to work autonomously and adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment.
