About the Role
Join our team of dedicated audiologists and make a real impact in the community. This is your opportunity to embrace the rewarding experience of working in the public sector, where you’ll find greater challenges, and a wide range of diverse cases.

We offer exceptional support for new graduates who are looking to obtain their Clinical Certificate of Competence and Paediatric Certification through the New Zealand Audiological Society. We can also support overseas graduates who are looking to gain membership to the New Zealand Audiological Society. Our team is committed to nurturing your growth, providing guidance, and ensuring a seamless transition into the field. As a new graduate you’ll find unmatched opportunities in the public sector to gain experience in a dynamic environment with a wide range of challenges.
This role has leadership opportunities available for those that are interested in being involved in service development and improvement.
About the Team/Service/ Location
We are a small and supportive team providing a full range of diagnostic and rehabilitative services to the Hawke’s Bay community. We predominantly see children and young adults in our clinic. We aim to provide quality diagnostic assessments and a whanau centred multidisciplinary approach to rehabilitation for children identified with hearing loss.
The team is made up of 4 audiologists and 2 administration support. We work closely with our Newborn Hearing screening team, our ENT colleagues as well as our Advisors on Deaf Children and Ko Taku Reo Resource Teachers of the Deaf. We have strong links to other audiology departments across the country.
We know how important a team approach is in audiology and have fostered a work environment that is supportive, fun and where everyone has value.
