Physiotherapist - Community Rehab

- 12 months Fixed Term Contract - 20 hours per week
- Located at Taranaki Base Hospital in New Plymouth
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with rehab client groups
- NZ Annual Practising Certificate essential

Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
We are seeking a Proficient part-time Physiotherapist to work as part of our Community Rehab Team
This position is mainly outpatient based but can also occur in the community or within Intermediate Care Team clinic or unit.
In this role you will work closely with the Physiotherapists in the rehab team as well as other AH teams including Intermediate Care teams. This position will have the ability to flex to where the rehab caseload demand is and as such offers a lot of variety and learning opportunities.
The client group is varied and includes neurological, vestibular, amputee rehab and other conditions.

You will need to have:-
- Vestibular training or experience
- A passion for rehab and desire to continue learning
- Problem solving approach
- Familiar with workshop machinery and fabrication process
- Excellent communication skills to work with other staff and patients
- Excellent computer skills
- Desire for ongoing learning
- Current APC (NZ registered)
- Current valid work Visa allowing you to live and work in NZ
