About the Role
Ward 9 has a strong Orthopaedic, Gynaecology and Otolaryngology focus providing diverse opportunities across all specialties in an acute and elective environment. We practice in a collaborative patient partnership model of care to achieve best outcomes for our patients/families and whānau.
Shifts will be rostered across Monday to Sunday, AM, PM, mid-shifts and night shifts.

About you
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
- Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
- You must be a NZ Registered Nurse with a current NZNC practising certificate and post-registration nursing experience in an acute care setting.
- You will also be a team player, who enjoys keeping up to date with clinical practice, have excellent organisational and time management skills and a commitment to quality.
