About the Role
You will never have an uneventful day in the Nelson Hospital ED!
ED nursing uses all your skills and provides daily learning opportunities, with around 31500 patient presentations per annum across the lifespan. We focus on excellent, quality care and are committed to improving the experience of patients and their whanau.
About the Team/Location
Nelson Marlborough Health is the main health provider for the Te Tau Ihu, the top of the south. About you
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
- Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
- NZ Registered Nurse with a current NZMC practising certificate and post-registration nursing experience in ED or Acute Care.
- You will be a team player, who enjoys keeping up to date with clinical practice, with excellent organisation and time management skills and a commitment to quality.
