About the Role
This position exists to provide medical imaging services for Hauora Tairawhiti, providing excellent imaging to support diagnosis and treatment.
About the Team/Service/ Location
The radiology team provides imaging in general X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Mammography, DEXA and Interventional Radiology. We are a vibrant team dedicated to supporting our community and each other, working together to make a positive impact every day. We also provide and after hours on call service for CT, MRI, Ultrasound and General X-Ray.

About the You

- Qualified Medical Radiation Technologist
- Registered with NZMRTB
- Current Annual Practising Certificate
- Experience in operating X-Ray equipment including digital machines
- Sound Oral and written communication skills
- Good knowledge of cross sectional imaging
- A high level of time management and personal work organisation skills
- CT Knowledge would be an advantage
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
- Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
