An exciting opportunity has become available to work as a Registered Nurse-Outreach Immunisation and join our passionate and multi-disciplinary team at Women Child and Family Community in Children’s Health Hub Rotorua.
Mō te tūranga / About the role
You will provide Outreach Immunisation Services (OIS) to children in Health New Zealand Te Whata Ora Lakes Rotorua region aged 0-6 years whose primary health care services have been unable to locate or have been unsuccessful in bringing into primary health care services for immunisation and are overdue for their scheduled childhood immunisations and meet the OIS guidelines. Key responsibilities include making contact with these families, discussing immunisation, gaining informed consent and arranging vaccination at their home, clinic or other suitable venues.
Mō koe / About you
- Registered Nurse with current APC
- Authorised Vaccinator with a current certificate
- Experience working with Infants and Children
- Current Basic Life support level 4
- Current Full Driving License

$ 81,683 to $ 103,750 pro-rated to hours worked
