Ngā mōhiohio e pā ana ki tēnei mahi (About this
position)
We are looking to appoint
an on roster Team Leader to work with a
group of people in our residential home
in the Motueka area. You will be an integral part of the team, proving support
and leadership as well as pro-active
day-to-day supports to enable the people you support to live safely and be
actively involved in their community. The working hours for this role is rostered as Monday to Friday from
7.00AM to 3.30PM.

We are looking for an inspiring Team Leader who loves to make connections
across community groups and activities. Someone who lives the Enabling
Good Lives principles; ensuring that people are supported to fully
participate in community life.
You will have:
- inspiring leadership skills and a strong commitment to the principles of person-centred support,
- Level 4, or an equivalent health or disability related qualification
- sound knowledge of Person Centred support as well as good time management skills,
- Experience working in the field of disability would be advantageous.
- This role is classified by Immigration as ANZSCO 423111 and applicants for this position must be NZ or Australian Citizens, or have NZ Permanent Residency, or a valid NZ work visa.

At Live Life Disability Support Services (LDSS), we support people with disabilities to live great lives that reflect their personal aspirations and choices. LDSS provides support to over 250 people in a variety of residential settings across the Nelson/Tasman and Marlborough regions.
We are developing innovative services, delivering person-centred and family-focused supports, and provide you with the opportunity to work in an ever-changing environment that is varied, fun, rewarding and which will sometimes bring a challenge to your day. We guarantee that no two days will ever be the same.
While most of our work is with people with disabilities, we also work with people with multiple support needs who sometimes communicate through behaviour which others may find challenging.
