The Radiology Department at Waitakere Hospital is seeking a Registered MIT to join our Radiology team on a part time, fixed term basis. We are a friendly, supportive, enthusiastic, and professional team and you will be part of a busy service that will offer you varied and interesting work

Our department is equipped with new DR X-ray rooms, Ultrasound, CT, plus we have a dedicated PACs teams.

We currently have a role available in General X-ray. Your duties will include undertaking varied radiological procedures, and looking after patients' comfort and welfare.

Essential

• Bachelor of Health Science in Medical Imaging or equivalent
• Registration with New Zealand MRT Board
• Culturally sensitive 
• Demonstrates good professional attitude
• Can work effectively in a team but also autonomously

Desired

• Previous experience working as an MRT
• Experience working within a PACs (Picture Archiving & Communications system) environment.
