About the Team/Service
Waikato Hospital boasts world-class facilities, with cutting-edge technology and equipment, and you’ll perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures, including angioplasty, stenting, embolization, biopsy, and drainage procedures. Joining a tertiary hospital with a philosophy of continuous innovation, you’ll bring plenty of experience to share, plus help grow the service through your own research activities and teaching radiology trainees.

Waikato Hospital is a major regional hospital in Hamilton and is a leading tertiary teaching hospital located in Hamilton, New Zealand, serving as the regional hub for the Midland area, which includes the Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Lakes, Tairawhiti, and Taranaki districts. With around 722 inpatient beds, 22 operating theatres, and a dedicated outpatient clinic and procedure centre, Waikato Hospital provides comprehensive hospital services, including radiology, laboratory, and pharmacy. About you
To apply you must have completed five years of radiology training and have an interventional radiology fellowship and/or experience. and be eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
