Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
The role is primarily responsible for the day to day coordination of equipment within our Hutt Valley hospital.
This position involves a timely response to clinical staff through effective and efficient undertaking of selecting, checking, arranging and delivery of Central Equipment Pool (CEP) equipment. The role is diverse and you will be dealing with a range of different people. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service focus, teamwork and empathy.
Key to success in this role is the ability to prioritise your day and work independently.
Mō tō mātou rōpū - About our team
The CEP provides a centralised loan equipment service to Wellington, Kenepuru, Hutt Valley Hospitals and Kapiti Health Centre, as well as the general outpatient community within the Capital, Coast & Hutt Valley regions.
The team consists of 9 equipment coordinators across the district reporting directly to the Team Leader whom is responsible for the day to day operations of the department.
