Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
The Adult Emergency Department (AED) is a fast-paced and dynamic service. We are looking for experienced clerks who is passionate about providing effective and efficient administrative assistance to our team.
The role is to provide clerical support to the AED staff, being the first point of contact for patients and visitors, and to provide a high-quality customer-focused approach through face to face and telephone contact.
You will be managing reception and performing various administrative tasks, including telephone referral service, data entry for admission, and discharging of patients.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
As an ideal candidate for this role, you will:
· Have at least 2 years of admin/reception experience (experience in the health sector is beneficial)
· Be proficient in computer skills and MS Office
· Have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
