Ward Clerk | Ward 24/25

Mō te tūnga | About the role
This role is dual administrator/ward clerk role supporting Ward 25 working Fridays 7.30 to 4pm and Ward 24 Monday and Tuesday 4pm to 8pm.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- General clerical and administrative tasks
- Entering information to the patient management system
- Answering phones and greeting patients and their families
- Delivering great customer service
Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Typing skills (typing speed of 50 - 70 WPM)
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Customer service skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Experience with Health Connect South and/or SI PICS systems is desired
- Excellent organisational, time management and problem-solving skills
- Medical terminology would be very beneficial
