SMO/RMO Payroll Officer

  • Based at our Greenlane Clinical Centre

Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

Te Toka Tumai provides effective organisation, prioritisation and completion of RMO payroll functions and processes delivered by the ADHB payroll team.

This involves accurate and timely processing of data coming into payroll. Managing internal and external customer queries. Understanding legislation and collective agreements that relate to the work done within payroll.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills

  • Qualification in HR or business related
  • Compute literature with MS Office, i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Previous payroll work experience
  • Able to confidentially work with personal information
  • Good keyboard skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience using payroll systems
  • Sound understanding of the Holidays Act 2003

Our main sites are Auckland City Hospital, Greenlane Clinical Centre and Starship Children’s Hospital, located in central Auckland. We are part of Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand, the overarching organisation for New Zealand’s national health service.
