Theatre Suite consists of 6 Operating Theatres with a Recovery Room, a Sterile
Services department and Endoscopy suite. We are a friendly and supportive team
focusing on providing a caring and professional environment, delivering quality
care and extended nursing practice.
Surgical
specialties covered include: General Surgery,
Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Urology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Dental, Acute/Trauma,
Paediatrics, Plastics and Vascular.
We are looking for a NZ Registered Anaesthetic Technician or Registered Nurse Anaesthetic Assistant (RNAA) to join our theatre team. This is a permanent, full-time role working 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE). Shifts are flexible - rostered and rotating Monday to Sunday, including evenings, weekends and on-call.

To be considered for this position you must be a Registered Anaesthetic Technician or a RNAA, with a current APC issued by The Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand (MSCNZ), or be eligible for the same.
You will be a team player who:
- enjoys keeping up to date with clinical practice
- has the ability to cope with a high and varied workload, including emergency situations
- has excellent organisational and time management skills
- has recent clinical experience with strong observational and crisis management skills
- has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ work visa at the time of applying.
