Salary: $72,000 - $80,000
Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
The Emergency Department in Wellington Regional Hospital is looking for a Clinical Ultrasound System Administrator to join the team to provide expert advice and support to the Emergency Department, ICU, Respiratory Medicine, Gynaecology and General Medicine along with the wider organisation in regards to the Clinical Ultrasound Electronic System.
The purpose of the System Administrator-Clinical Ultrasound electronic solution is to provide expert technical/system advice, support/coordinate training to the various services across the Wellington Regional Hospital.
Mō tō mātou rōpū - About our team:
The Wellington Regional Hospital is the tertiary referral centre for the lower half of the North Island of New Zealand, providing specialist service to around 900 000 people. Te Pae Tiaki | Emergency Department is the area where you will be based and has a mix of adult-paediatric department (20% children) with around 65,000 annual presentations and an admission rate of 40%. It is also the regional tertiary and trauma centre and is supported in-house by most specialties including those you will be dealing with, ICU, Respiratory Medicine, Gynaecology and General Medicine.
Moū - About you
The ideal candidate will have experience in systems administration, excellent organisation and time management skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload. You will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as we as being able to communicate and function productively in an interdisciplinary team.
Other skills and experience we are looking for:
- The ability to concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
- High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Information Technology
- Work with discretion and confidentiality
- Be ready to undertake training/ further education
