Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
Operating as part of the Private Cloud product team within Digital Enablement – Platforms, this role is responsible for deploying, optimising, securing and improving digital health services on our hybrid cloud platforms.With a background in enterprise-level technology, particularly in the Microsoft solution stack, and a deep understanding of cloud service architecture and principles, you will bring your expertise to bear to improve process, lift the security posture of our digital health services, leverage automation to drive efficiency, and embed best practice in digital service management. You will also provide operational excellence guidance, leadership and mentorship to the wider Platforms team members to help improve our ways of working and will engage with regional stakeholders to assist with service and operations management activities.

The Platforms team provide an integrated server, network and security service to the wider Data & Digital directorate within the Waikato region for Health NZ. The Platforms team provide an underlying level of IT functionality allowing our clinical colleagues to deliver a world class service to the tāngata of this region.

Required skills & experience you will need to be considered for this role:

Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi

Tertiary Qualification in Computer science or equivalent enterprise-level experience in technology

Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), and/or Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (AZ800,801)

Microsoft AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals
-
3-5 years enterprise-level experience supporting private and public cloud platforms (particularly Azure) and administering Windows Server and associated Microsoft platforms
