Pharmacy Services, based at Waikato hospital, provides service to Waikato hospital, a tertiary centre, plus 6 smaller rural hospitals/care units spread across the Waikato region. The team of approximately 80 staff is divided into five teams – two clinical, dispensary/supply (including compounding), quality use of medicines, and our community pharmacy service (Pharmacy on Meade). We are a close knit team, focussed on helping patients through the provision of excellent pharmaceutical care, and we are passionate about constantly striving to improve the services we provide.
Mōu | About you
This is a varied and interesting role that combines your skill and knowledge as a pharmacist with your interest in Critical Care.
We are seeking someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills, a flexible approach, confidence interacting with a range of health professionals, and ability to work both independently and as an integral team member.
Ideally will suit a NZ registered pharmacist with 5-8 years of hospital experience and a post-graduate qualification in clinical pharmacy or other relevant postgraduate qualification, however other candidates will be considered.
