Infant, Child
and Adolescent Mental Health Service (iCAMHS) is a regional service for
children and youth with serious mental health disorders up to aged 18 years. Our
multi-disciplinary team is made up of psychiatrists, mental health nurses,
psychologists, occupational therapists and social /allied health workers, all
trained in a range of treatment modalities.
An
important aspect to this role is inter-agency work; including working with
community services such as Oranga Tamariki, schools, GPs and local Maori
networks.
This is a permanent, part time position working 48 hours per fortnight (0.6FTE) based in Golden Bay, Tasman.

We are looking to appoint an allied health professional or registered nurse, with at least 2-years - experience within an iCAMHS or
acute mental health setting. You will be experienced in
working with young people and you will be up to date with current research findings relating to major mental health issues and trends
in child and adolescent mental health service delivery. You will also have a
background in delivering comprehensive assessments and evidence-based
interventions for children and youth.
You will be the type of person who fits into a cohesive team culture of collaborative
practice, openness, humour, and respect across disciplines and will engender
confidence, trust and rapport with clients, their support networks and other
agencies and service providers.
Te Whatu Ora employees are required to have completed their primary course of two NZ approved COVID-19 vaccinations.
