Ngā mōhiohio e pā ana ki tēnei mahi (About this position)
- The key purpose of the role is to effectively and efficiently produce a digital clinical record for the purposes of timely access and retrieval by staff
- The role forms part of the scanning bureau team located at Nelson Hospital and serves the wider region under the Te Whatu Ora Nelson Marlborough region.
- The focus of this role is on quality assurance, which means continued validation of key data points on the digitised document via our unique software to ensure Archives New Zealand digitisation standards are met and Privacy breaches are eliminated
- The hours of work are between 6am and 6pm of which an 8 hour shift
can consist of working: 6am to 2:30pm,
7:30 to 4pm or 9:30 to 6pm. Please note
you may be required to work different shifts depending on the bureau - s need.
The starting salary for
this role is $51,291 per annum pro rata.

You will have a bright, outgoing personality and will possess excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering a consistently high level of customer service. You will be a competent typist and possess a sound knowledge of the MS Office Suite. Knowledge of medical terminology would be an advantage, but is not essential. You - ll be highly empathetic, respect the importance of maintaining patient confidentiality and will have demonstrated the ability to manage a busy workload.
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ work visa at the time of applying.
Te Whatu Ora staff must have completed their primary course of two NZ approved COVID-19 vaccinations.
