Right now, we - re looking for a Pharmacist with a good level of experience to join our expanding team in Timaru.
Here at Timaru Hospital our Pharmacists do much more than dispense medicines. In fact, as an integral member of a broad multi-disciplinary clinical service team, you - ll enjoy active clinical involvement.
Our Pharmacy team is involved in the provision of clinical pharmacy services, medicines reconciliation, medicines information, patient counselling, on call services and inpatient and outpatient dispensing and you will become an integral member of the clinical pharmacy team.
The role also requires a high standard of pharmacy practice to oversee pharmacy operational duties including medication stock management, dispensing, non-sterile compounding, general dispensary and administrative duties.
You will be self-motivated, accountable, efficient, accurate and meticulous, a team player with excellent communication skills. Ideally you will have sound experience in a busy community or hospital pharmacy.
If you have excellent time management, planning, and organisational skills as well as having good communication skills, are a quick learner and be able to perform in an accurate and precise manner, then we look forward to your application.
