We have an exciting opportunity available to join the radiology team as the fulltime Quality Manger. In the position along with the management team you will need to lead, uphold and support Radiation safety legislative requirements and maintenance of the Quality standards program within the Radiology Department.

The Te Whatu Ora, Waikato Radiology service aspires to deliver integrated imaging services with an emphasis on excellence and tailored to the unique needs of its community.

 

As a member of the Radiology service at Te Whatu Ora, Waikato you will have within this role a shared accountability to provide comprehensive imaging services in both inpatient and outpatient settings, to the people of the Waikato region. These services will be provided in an environment that values people and considers all stakeholder interests, while maintaining best practice, supporting innovation and proactively working to limit the effect of a changing environment on its purpose. This role will work collaboratively with all health professionals as well as the wider multi-disciplinary team throughout.

 

Mōu | About you

Required skills & experience you will need to be considered for this role:

  • Qualified Medical Imaging Technologist or extensive relevant experience

  • Considerable Radiology / radiation safety work-experience

  • High level of technical skills of project management, quality improvement, risk management, relationship management

  • Familiarity with IANZ and audit procedures

  • Proficient computer literacy as a user of core software systems

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including presentation, written and oral

  • Effective time management skills

  • Computer literacy
