As a Radiology Clinical Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting an X-ray, Ultrasound and CT services in delivering quality patient care for our patients and whanau. This role will be based in the Radiology Department at Thames Hospital. This is a fixed term role with a minimum of 32 hours per week.

A typical day as a Radiology Clinical Assistant can include:

• Supporting the Medical Imaging Technologists (Radiographers) and Sonographers

• Transporting and moving patients

• Undertaking administrative duties

• Maintaining an effective workflow and working environment in key Radiology service areas

• Restocking of supplies

• Maintaining a clean and safe environment

• Other such duties that will assist with the smooth running of the department

The successful candidate will be provided with a comprehensive orientation programme and supportive staff development opportunities.

• Previous experience in this role would be an advantage but not essential as onsite training is provided
