This is an exciting opportunity for a senior role within the Workforce and Practice Development Unit.
With your enthusiasm for the on-going professional development and recognition of our nursing workforce, you are invited to apply for this leadership role coordinating the Capital Coast PDRP Programme. This is a full-time, permanent position for a registered nurse. The Nurse Coordinator PDRP is responsible for leading and facilitating all aspects of the PDRP programme, providing education and guidance to nurses and advancing engagement with the PDRP across the District.
Mō tō mātou rōpū - About our team
The Workforce and Practice Development Unit (W&PDU) supports the Chief Nursing Officer, Nurse Directors, and Director of Midwifery across the District. This support enables the alignment of the W&PDU - s professional, operational and strategic leadership accountabilities, within allocated resources to reflect national, regional and District priorities. This is a highly motivated and supportive team that leads a culture of education and professional development to enhance the workforce capability to provide high quality and safe services.
Moū - About you
The position would suit a self-motivated, well-organised person who is passionate about supporting high standards of practice and professional development across the nursing workforce. The preferred candidate will have the ability to deliver education, provide leadership and guidance, facilitate processes of the programme, and engage the nursing workforce. The ability to develop effective relationships with nurse leaders and educators in clinical settings within our organisation as well as with external partner organisations is vital. Experience in Microsoft Excel and database management would be valuable.
