As a Hospital Service Employee (Household) you are a critical part of our team at Nelson Hospital.The role involves thorough cleaning throughout the wards, operating theatres, public areas and offices, as well as changing beds and rubbish collection.  You may also do the tea rounds, have contact with patients and support the nursing and orderly staff.

As this is a casual position, predominantly covering staff leave, no two days will be the same.  We will aim to offer you casual hours that fit around your other commitments. Ideally you will have the flexibility to work across a range of shifts and days.

Earn $22.75/hr (entry) up to $27.18/hr with relevant NZQA qualifications. In addition to hourly rates, we pay penal rates for evening and weekend work.

To be successful in this role you will be reliable, have a positive attitude and consistently deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service. Previous cleaning experience would be an advantage; however, training will be provided.
