Expressions of Interest - Change Manager and HR Lead - Holidays Act Review Project

Right now, we are looking for expressions of interest if you - re interested in a Change Manager or an HR Lead position for Te Whatu Ora South Canterbury - s Holidays Act Project. The opportunities to be involved in this project are full-time for 12 months, and both roles could sit with one candidate or could sit separately as two full-time fixed-term roles. This is a great step for an experienced Change Manager or HR professional looking to take charge of designing and implementing our project, to help us solve our Holidays Act puzzle!
Working closely with the Project Manager, HR team and the Payroll specialist, you will lead this small team to design and support the change management process we need to remediate and rectify Holidays Act non-compliances for current and former employees, and develop and implement changes to HR and Payroll systems and processes to ensure ongoing compliance.
Utilising your broad change management knowledge and experience, your employment relations and holidays act knowledge, your ability to network, develop and nurture key stakeholder relationships and work in true partnership, your work will make a difference to our current and previous staff, in an exciting time of change.
Here - s a little of what we - re looking for:
- Tertiary qualification at Bachelor - s degree level in Human Resources, Business Management, Law etc.;
- Demonstrated experience (at least 5 years) in HR or Change Management or organizational change, ideally in a complex, unionised environment;
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management experience;
- Sound knowledge of the Holidays Act and working knowledge of Payroll processes and systems;
- Confidence working with employment agreements and documentation (IEA - s/MECA - s) and the Employment Relations Act legislation.
