Appointment Coordinator/Administration Support (Part time), Acute Allied Health, Te Whatu Ora

We have opportunity for an experience individual who thrives on variety and challenge, and who enjoys working in a fast paced environment to join our team of administrators. This is a part time role working 32 hours a week Monday to Friday based at Miiddlemore Hospital. Days and times are negotiable.
In this role you will be responsible for administratively managing referrals, waitlists and outpatient appointments bookings for Counties Manukau patients across the organisation in accordance with the Ministry of Health guidelines. The position has responsibility of managing outpatient bookings for the Acute Allied Health service. You will be contributing to the efficient operation of the Acute Allied Health team by providing administration support.
You will need to have good skills in the use of the MS Office suite, able to follow processes and have excellent attention to detail. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills whilst being organised and efficient with the ability to work in a high pressured environment, and handle anything that comes your way.
Ideally you will have previous administration experience and possess the drive and enthusiasm to ensure a high level of administration support is provided to clinicians and patients.
Essential:
- Min 2 years administration/clerical experience
- Min 2 years work experience with a customer service focus
- Computer literacy to intermediate level
- Well-developed team skills
- Excellent spoken and written communication
Desired:
- Knowledge and Skills in the use of iPM and eReferral management
- Experience in administration in a hospital environment or other health setting.
The salary range is between $67,932 to $70,951, dependent on skills and experience.
