We have a new purpose-built facility opened in August 2020, Te Nikau Hospital and Health Centre and are leading the way in an exciting new chapter of Rural Medicine as well as being one of the first areas to role out localities under the new Te Whatu Ora health system. We offer an ideal setting for trainees in Rural Hospital Medicine, Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine and General Practice Medical programs.
We are accredited for training programmes:
Rural Hospital Medicine training focused on ED, General Medicine, General Surgery
ACEM - special skills placement: Rural & Remote Hospital Medicine

Skills & Experience
You will have completed PGY2 (or FY2) by January 2022
