We are looking for a recent midwife graduate with loads of passion and commitment to join our maternity team on a casual/as required bases with the flexibility to work across AM, PM and Nights (you can choose between 8 hr and 12 hr shifts).

You will have the opportunity to work in our nearby primary maternity unit if you are keen too!

As a midwife you will be able to use all of your clinical, time management and organisational skills and expertise across pregnancy, birthing and postnatal care. You will be an important member of maternity service and support us to achieve the broader organisational health care objectives.
You are required to provide proof that you have completed your primary course of NZ approved Covid-19 vaccinations.

The midwifery team at Nelson-Tasman is awesome! We are a midwifery led service with close collegial relationships with our Obstetric and Paediatric teams too! The secondary maternity team works closely with our local primary maternity unit so there is the opportunity to work across both sites! The team not only make such a positive work environment to be in ' they love to get together for social activities too! We can guarantee you'll receive a very warm welcome into our team!

The full-time equivalent salary range for this position is $65,022 through to $84,158, based on the current NZNO Nursing and Midwifery MECA, dependent on skills, experience, and registration in NZ.
