Right now, we're
looking for a Public Health Nurse to join our small but dedicated team of Public Health Nurses (PHN'S) who
are truly passionate about their work and are held in high regard in the
community which they serve. You'll enjoy the flexibility of a truly varied role where
there is never a dull moment or a day that looks like another!
Our PHN's are committed to working with children / tamariki, young people, families / whanau and
the community to enhance individual strengths and wellbeing.
- Be able to work in partnership with children/youth and their families/whanau to promote health and enhance well-being.
- Possess excellent communication skills both written and oral and have the ability to relate well to people from a wide variety of backgrounds.
- Be able to demonstrate strong personal initiative and a high level of self-motivation.
- Demonstrate effective planning and prioritisation skills
- Confident working both independently and within a team environment
- Hold a full
Candidates would preferably
be authorised vaccinators or willing to work towards this qualification.
