- Multiple permanent full time and part time positions available

- Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current APC
Mō te tūnga - About the Role
us in Ward A3 and work with the team that provides care for our acute general
surgery patients, undergoing general surgical procedures within the ward
environment and high dependency surgical patients in our 8 bed Surgical
Progressive Care Unit (SPCU). Ward A3 is also a Dedicated Education Unit,
therefore for staff wanting to be involved in the development of student
nurses, this is an excellent opportunity.

Working in our large multidisciplinary team you can expect to work closely with and learn from our Surgeons, our Nurse Educator and Clinical Nurse Specialist, who are all experts in their specialties and who are focused on advances in surgical care that improve clinical outcomes.
Recent acute surgical or medical experience preferred but not essential. You will have effective problem solving and decision-making skills and a commitment to providing and maintaining high standards of nursing practice within our service.
