Waikari Hospital is a 10 bed rural hospital that admits a variety of patients from other hospitals, medical centres and the community.
It is staffed by 1 Registered Nurse, 1 Healthcare Assistant & 1 cook for am shifts and 1 Registered Nurse, 1 Healthcare Assistant for pm shifts and 1 Registered Nurse for nights.
In these roles at Waikari the HCA will deliver excellent care and meals to a variety of patients.
HCA roles will be involved with aged care, rehabilitation, respite and palliative care.
The hospital would encourage strongly those to apply who are within commuting distance to Waikari Hospital, a rural hospital. If you are unsure of the location, do please have a look at google maps. Ideally you will live locally as Waikari is situated an hour's drive from Christchurch.
This position is a casual position, working as and when needed at Waikari Hospital. There are no guaranteed or set shifts.
