The Cardiology Investigation Unit is looking for a full time, permanent trainee Cardiac Sonographer to join our dynamic team of Cardiac Sonographers, Cardiac Physiologists and Cardiac Physiology Technicians. 

This training position involves gaining a post graduate level qualification through the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) by both distance learning, attendance residential block courses and through on the job training.  To be eligible for enrolment in the qualification you must be a New Zealand citizen (including citizens of the Cook Islands, Tokelau, and Niue) or an Australian citizen. 

The duration of the QUT program is 2 years. The qualification must be achieved within a 3-year time period from the first available QUT enrolment date after commencement of employment. Enrolment into the QUT program will commence February 2023. 

These trainee positions are rarely available and highly sought after.  So if you have a Bachelors level science or health science degree suitable for registration with QUT (and subsequent registration with MRTB) and the drive and determination to succeed then we want to hear from you.
