We have a great opportunity for an experienced NZ Registered Dietitian to join our close-knit friendly and innovative team of Dietitians. We are looking for a Dietitian with demonstrated leadership skills and experience, who is self-motivated and enjoys working in a flexible and challenging environment and wants to continue to develop their leadership capabilities.

The role of the senior is to support the Clinical Leader, and provide leadership to a small team of Outpatient Dietitians, support service development opportunities, and hold a clinical caseload within the team.

Nutrition and Dietetic Services provide an adult outpatient services across North Shore and Waitakere Hospitals and satellite sites. We offer a number of specialist clinics and group education sessions including gastro, bariatric and non-diet approach. In this role you would be one of six senior Dietitians across the adult service, supporting clinicians and service development across all sites.

You would be part of a larger team of Dietitians in Medicine and Health of Older people providing adult patient services Waitematā DHB, which provide inpatient, outpatient, bariatric, renal and community services. 

To be successful in this role you will need to have at least 5 years’ experience with strong clinical expertise, great communication skills, be results-driven, efficient in your time management, and enjoy working both independently and as part of a strong quality-focused team.
