The Team: What we do
Te Whare Manaaki is a Medium Secure Forensic Unit, which provides specialist care for people who, as a result of a mental illness, has seriously offended or are assessed as high risk for serious offending. Priding itself on a sustained commitment to quality improvement, the Forensic Mental Health Service is a fulfilling and dynamic environment to work in.
The Role: Where you fit in
Healthcare Assistants are instrumental in providing care to patients and supporting the clinical team. As a Healthcare Assistant you will assist nursing staff with patient cares whilst maintaining a safe and clean work environment on the ward. You will enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team, have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, a high level of confidentiality and the ability to work well under pressure.
A certificate in Health and Wellbeing (or willingness to work towards competition of this certificate) is essential.
This is a fixed term full time position on a 4 on 2 off roster until 13th June.
