48 hours per fortnight (0.6FTE)
Our Perioperative Unit covers elective and acute surgery and has a 24 hour a day, 7 days a week acute service. The Acute Pain Service (APS) for HBDHB sits within the Perioperative Unit. We are currently able to offer an experienced Registered Nurse with an interest in Acute Pain management a fantastic opportunity to join us and work with a multi-specialty team of professionals!
If successful, you will work as part of the APS team in a variety of days across the week including weekends and public holidays. This is a fixed term role covering parental leave up until 30th April 2023.
You will bring proven surgical nursing experience and we will ensure a comprehensive orientation period, in-service education and opportunities to develop. It's imperative you are able to work in New Zealand - you must be registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and hold a current practicing certificate.
