Reconstructive Breast Surgery 0.7 FTE
As part of the continuing growth and development of General Surgery at Waitemata District Health, there is now an opportunity to become our Clinical Nurse Specialist in Reconstructive Breast surgery.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist will provide clinical expertise and case management for selected patients requiring breast reconstruction.
This exciting new role will involve working with the Breast Clinical Leaders of both General and Plastic Surgery to assist with the provision of a safe clinically effective service.
It is acknowledged that this role will be an evolutionary role. Training and education will be given as required to the successful candidate.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, initiative, a sound work ethic and a demonstrated commitment to the provision of safe and appropriate patient / family focused health care delivery. You will be able to work closely with patients, clinicians, nurses and other key stakeholders. Post-graduate education at certificate/diploma level should be underway and on-going professional development is required.
