We are seeking a Medical Records Administrator who is highly organised, customer focused and has excellent to detail to join our Clinical Records team. Playing an essential role supporting the smooth running of the team, you will be responsible for tracking, preparing, creating, maintenance and filing of patient records. Medical Records Administrators work in a busy and at times physically demanding role that will suit someone who is motivated, able to learn quickly and able to adapt to managing a diverse range of tasks and duties.

Clinical Records are responsible for the safe, effective and efficient management of patient records at Capital and Coast DHB. The Clinical Records team manages requests and retrievals through prompt and courteous service in a fast-paced, high volume, customer focused environment.

- Previous experience in health administration or records management experience would be advantageous
- Knowledge of the Privacy Act and other legislation relevant to patient records
- Excellent time management skills
- Maintains a high level of professionalism and good rapport with clients
- High level of English comprehension with excellent written and oral communication skills
- Flexible and adapatable
