Kōrero mō te tūranga About the role
The Manager will be responsible for the FSC(ID) budget; oversight and management of compulsory care coordinators and intensive service coordinators; relationship management with key stakeholders; and be responsible and accountable for ensuring that day to day clinical, administrative, financial and human resource management of the service are carried out efficiently, effectively and in accordance with C&C DHB expectations, policies, procedures, and to professional/ethical standards.
Project work and participation in the service administrative and management initiatives are included in the responsibility of this position and will be responsible and accountable for delivering services under the contract with the Ministry of health located at the 5 major centres in NZ.

The Service has between 20-30 staff working across 5 bases in Auckland, Cambridge, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin. The team is a group of experienced service coordinators who have many years working within the sector in various roles
The Manager will be expected to travel at times due to the National service staff being based across New Zealand. You will be a self-starter and have excellent interpersonal skills and relevant clinical experience in the area of intellectual disability and/or forensic health would be an advantage. Have knowledge of the high and complex disability framework and experience in leading a team of remotely based staff will be an advantage
