Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
Cardiology nursing at Te Toka Tumai Auckland offers a variety and challenge that is clinically stimulating and great fun. A supportive team that provides superior care to all their patients. We, at Ward 31, are also a key stakeholder in provision of care to Auckland City Hospital's Cardiovascular service, providing care to our local, tertiary and national population. Our key areas include:
- Interventional cardiology
- Electrophysiology and arrhythmia management
- Heart failure
- Adult congenital heart disease
We offer an environment where “patient centred care” and “team work” are prioritised and valued. We support this with a commitment to staff development of skills and knowledge, working closely with the Acute Cardiac Care Unit and Cardiac Investigation Unit.
We are looking for Registered Nurses with at least 2 years recent acute hospital experience in a tertiary hospital and who are passionate to deliver best care to our patients and Whānau

To be considered for this role you must:
- Be registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand
- Have a current Annual Practicing Certificate
- Previous surgical, medical or cardiac experience will be beneficial
