Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality general practice services to a diverse patient population, with a focus on achieving health equity.
• Engage with Māori and Pacific communities in culturally safe ways, building trust and rapport.
• Work collaboratively with the team to develop care plans that address the physical, mental, and social health needs of patients.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant health regulations.

About You:

• Vocationally Registered GP: You will be a qualified, vocationally registered GP with experience in primary care, ideally with a strong understanding of the unique health challenges faced by Māori and Pacific communities.
• Cultural Awareness: A commitment to working within a kaupapa Māori framework and an understanding of the social determinants of health.
• Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Patient-Centered Approach: A holistic, compassionate, and culturally responsive approach to patient care.
• Flexibility & Adaptability: Able to thrive in a dynamic, community-oriented environment where people really care
