Salary details: $80,442 to $113,000 base salary + KiwiSaver

Grow your career and gain exposure across the dynamic world of hospital pharmacy at one of the country’s biggest tertiary hospitals: Waikato. Our dedicated community pharmacy team are seeking a Pharmacist to join us at our on-site community pharmacy – Pharmacy on Meade.
As a pharmacist working in Pharmacy on Meade, you will play a key role in the provision of community pharmacy services right in the middle of Waikato Hospital campus. You’ll be working alongside and have direct links to a multidisciplinary team of specialists, Doctors, nurses and outpatient clinics
Day to day, you will be part of a small happy team, offering dispensing, compounding and clinical services to patients, visitors & hospital staff members.
The role is both busy & enjoyable with lots of variety. You will be an integral part of the hospital multi-disciplinary team as well as be part of the wider hospital pharmacy team.
This role is ideal for someone who is looking to broaden their and valuable clinical knowledge or who is tired for working in a regular pharmacy.
We offer a better work life balance with our hours being 8am- 5:30pm, occasional rostered Saturdays. NO Sundays or public holidays.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Dispensary based services
- Involvement in provision of compassionate supply medicines
- Clinical pharmacy services to outpatients
- A link between discharged patients and the hospital teams
- Fundeda Patient counselling services.

Mōu | About you
- NZ recognised qualified pharmacist with a NZ Pharmacy Council issued annual practising certificate
- Experience in community pharmacy practice
- Customer focussed and a team player
- Immunisation vaccinator trained - advantageous
- Ideally trained in community pharmacy clinical services
