Pharmacist - Associate Lead

Where you’ll be working: Waikato Hospital
The details: Permanent - 80 Hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE)

This new leadership role based at Waikato Hospital requires a qualified, experienced hospital pharmacist with a keen interest in paediatrics, neonatal and women’s health, the main focus of the position. A post-graduate qualification in clinical pharmacy, and previous leadership experience would be an advantage, as would expertise in paediatric parenteral nutrition.

Providing and coordinating pharmacist services to Women and Children clinical area

Providing support to the team leader(s) by taking on leadership, operational management, coordination and planning for the delegated team or area of expertise

Coordinating clinical activities within the service on a day to day basis as delegated by the team leader(s)

Helping to provide support, coaching and mentoring of pharmacist employees

Participation in the on-call roster
