Manager - Oracle Finance & Procurement Information Systems

About the service:

You will be joining a large (70 – 80 people) Supply Chain function. We support the delivery of health services for our community within a 24/7 environment and strive to provide exceptional service to all our stakeholders.

This is an exciting period of change for our organisation where you can directly contribute to our transformation agenda. You will have the opportunity to engage with the team to deliver services that have a direct impact on clinical care and the clinical services delivered to our patients.

 

About the role:

Responsible for the management and operations of our finance, procurement and supply chain information system, this role is critical in keeping the ERP wheels turning to meet the operational needs of Waikato DHB.

Making sure the system runs at optimum, this role continuously looks for opportunities to improve our processes. The team supports local users, manages release cycles, liaises with other DHBs and the national team on ongoing enhancement, and supports the integration with other systems. It will make sure the end user, and finance and supply chain teams have the right access to valuable data.

Reporting to the Director Supply chain, this role is a key member of the supply chain leadership team as well as managing a small team of your own.

 

About you:

You will be a Systems focused, analytical and organised person who will always be one step ahead and looking for ways to get more from the system. As a critical thinker you will support the finance and supply chain team to resolve complex issues.

 

To be successful you will have at least:

• A relevant tertiary qualification and a minimum of 10 years’ experience

• A sound understanding and extensive experience with Oracle and/or other ERP systems

• Leadership Skills including developing and maintaining strong working relationships in a collaborative environment

• Worked in a continuous improvement environment

• Capability in process improvement

• Experience in a large complex work place
