Where you’ll be working: Oral Health Service – Whitianga and surrounding areas
The details: Permanent Full time - 40 Hours per week (1.0 FTE) - Monday to Friday
Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join the Eastern Oral Health Team. You will provide support and assist oral health and dental therapists to provide dental care to pre-school and school aged children in Whitianga and the surrounding areas. This position is a full-time permanent role Monday-Friday. The position involves working mostly on a mobile dental unit but can occasionally include work in fixed facilities in the Waikato region. Training and orientation is provided on site and through modules. Travel across the Waikato is sometimes required for training and service needs.

The position would ideally suit someone who has had dental assistant experience or has a work history in office administration, working with children, customer service, Maori health service or health care.
