Oral Health / Dental Therapists - Thames

Where you’ll be working: Thames / Coromandel and surrounds working in a new fixed facility (under construction) - and on assessment and treatment mobile dental units and fluoride vans for the Oral Health Service.

Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
We are searching for a registered Dental Therapist / Oral Health Therapist to join the Oral Health team, working in both fixed facilities and mobile dental clinics in the Thames / Coromandel peninsular surrounding areas. Our aim is to be pro-active instead of reactive while responding to the needs of our population. We encourage creativity and innovation across our clinical practices. Four-handed dentistry forms part of our standard practice.

You will need to be flexible, organised, self-motivated and demonstrate that you can work effectively with whanau to improve oral health.

You will be a team player who understands the importance of partnering with dental assistants and who values support, friendship, and development.

You will need to align with the Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zeland values and culture with a focus to grow a successful oral health team.
If you have a current annual practising certificate, broad/dual scopes of practice, and a full driver’s licence, we’d encourage you to apply.
